“Keep trying until you succeed.” “Winners never quit!” The above adages look very impressive when written, but aren’t actually very realistic. Let’s sit down and face the reality. Yes, it is said that Edison had failed thousands of times before he invented the light bulb; yes, it is true that one shouldn’t get disheartened by failures but it is also true that you should choose your goals wisely. I mean it definitely isn’t wise to sit on a chunk of coal and wait for it to transform into diamond just because you heard that diamond is just carbon which is placed under a lot of pressure! We need to keep trying, but not when the goal is something so unrealistic! It is said that there’s an invisible thread that connects us to what we are destined to achieve. The thread may sometimes tangle, it may even stretch but it never breaks!
